Leader of the second of my two Chaos armies, Riggurm Ortis is a disciple of Nurgle, God of Death and Decay.
Painting him took some time, but for prominent models (such as army commanders) it's a good idea to take a lot of time on them to make sure that they look good. Green being the most common colour of Nurgle, I chose this as his cloak colour. I started with a base coat of Dark Angels green, and added Bleached Bone to the mix for each progressive layer. This model has about 5 or 6 layers for each main colour so as to provide a smooth transition between highlights.
