Tomb Scorpions provide the Tomb King army with a hard-hitting unit that can easily get behind the enemy for a nasty surprise. In the game, they burrow up from beneath the sands and appear on the table during the game. This can be unnerving for the enemy, as these bone constructs can kill off Knights, War Machines and Characters pretty easily given the chance.
Painting them was fairly simple. As with all bone that I paint, it starts with a spray undercoat of White. Flesh Wash is then applied over the model, with a drybrush of Bleached Bone over that. A final drybrush of Skull White is applied to provide these large models with an extra level of detail.
